This month at “The Zeg” there seemed to be
I don’t consider myself a professional photographer and I for sure have a lot to learn. And I have challenged myself to learn and produce better photos. By posting these set of photos I know I have to step my game up for future photography posts. So here we go:
Out for a hike one Saturday I came across this clearing in the trees, I had to take a picture and I must say it was more amazing in person than this picture could ever convey.
This photo was actually an accident. I’m not sure what I was trying to do but I leaned down to try and get the whole structure in the photo and saw this in the camera and realized a piece of the Colosseum looks really good.
On a trip to New York City I decided to have drink at the train station and stumbled upon this little bar. The drink was expensive but it was worth it to get this shot of people sitting at the bar with the cool vintage glass behind the bar.
So if you have not been to Antelope Canyon in Arizona it is a must. You will get great shots of these amazing rock formations with the sun shining through.
There was a pop u p art exhibit in Denver where artists had to use a vehicle to create art. I saw this old Dodge truck and thought the front grill withe the newspapers looked really dope.
“Just one step. Just one mile. Just one dollar. Just one kiss. Just one person. When we look at life through the lens of ‘one,’ everything becomes that much more attainable.” -Mick Ebeling
One December night I was walking along the pier and saw this cool shot with the Ferris Wheel in the background. It was a quiet night so a lot of the shops had closed. Its great to take photos when there aren’t a lot of people.
Having some of the best fried chicken at the Blue Ribbon Brasserie inside the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas I turned around and saw the chefs under the oysters sign and snapped this with my Iphone
I heard about this garage in Chicago that was a good place to see the trains the snake between the tall buildings. After an hour of finding the the right garage level to go to I was able to get this pretty cool shot.
Back to New York City again there was rooftop exhibit featuring glass cubes by artist Larry Bell. I was able to find a good angle to get the cubes and some of the city skyline.
Last but not least. You cant go wrong with a sunset. Or a sunrise for that matter. I took a trip to California during the Christmas holiday and decided on Christmas day I wanted to sit on the beach in Malibu and watch the sunset. And I must say it was amazing.
