I would have to say that Botanical Gardens in Atlanta is arguably the best in the USA. This urban oasis located in the heart of Atlanta is currently featuring “Imaginary Worlds: Alice’s Wonderland.” There are three prominent features on display: The Cheshire Cat, The army of the Queens, and at the center a giant topiary-life like replica of the Mad Hatter.

These life-like sculptures are amazing. Although the “Imaginary Worlds” is the center attraction, there are other fantastic plant sculptures around the gardens like the Pegasus and the Dragon.”

Some of you may not be able to make it down to Atlanta to check this exhibit out; however, many major cities have their own botanical gardens. So if you’re looking for something to do that won’t break the bank then this is for sure a great way to spend a weekend day or a weekday date night. On Thursday’s the gardens are open until 9:30pm for Cocktails in Garden starting at 5:30pm “Alice’s Wonderland is on view at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens until October 27, 2019
