Urban Photography

I adore the electric colors that light up Hong Kong at night. While wandering through the city, I stumbled upon a glowing sign casting a beautiful red hue onto a nearby building.

Aerial Photography

One of my favorite shots is a couple running a nightstand selling comics and magazines. It captures a unique slice of life in the city.

Black & White Photography

Some photography requires patience. I waited 3 hours watching these junk boats go back and forth across the harbor to get a shot with the red sails hoisted and the boat positioned along the sky line.

Street Photography

Exploring the night scene in Mong Kok offers plenty of great photo opportunities.

Documentary Photography

Exploring little neighborhoods observing people living life is reflected in this shot of a old school barbershop and the barber and patron.

Architecture Photography

I love photographing architecture, and the towering buildings in Hong Kong provide a fantastic opportunity to capture them from various angles.

Selfie

The cool thing about Photography is the versatility of turning the camera around and making yourself the subject. I am a big fan of the colorful store front signage in Hong Kong and made sure to set up my trip-pod and take my own self portrait in front of a restaurant.

Night Photography

Experimenting with night photography allowed me to capture the city skyline alongside a crescent moon in the background.

Art Photography

Bruce Lee, the legendary martial arts actor, had a significant connection to Hong Kong, and this mural is a beautiful tribute to him.

Telephoto Photography

Finally, after visiting Tian Tan Buddha, I turned back for one last glance and was captivated by the silhouette of the seated Buddha framed by the trees.
